What Slack, Asana, Notion, HubSpot and Zendesk cost a 20-person team
Short answer: about $905 a month, or $10,858 a year, at list prices on annual plans. Most of it is per-seat pricing, so the bill grows with every hire. One system with the same features usually costs $550–$625 a month.
The bill, tool by tool
| Tool and plan | Per seat | Seats | A month |

Why the bill keeps growing
- Slack, Asana and Notion charge for every person, even those who open them once a week.
- Each new hire adds a seat in every tool, about $28.24 a month across chat, tasks and docs alone.
- Most teams use a fraction of each tool, but pay for the whole plan.
Ways to pay less
Remove unused seats, move occasional users to free guest roles, and drop tools that overlap. Our seven-step guide walks through each one.
If the team still needs all five, one system with only the features it uses can replace them. Using the same rule as our estimate, a fee 30–40% below today's total, that is about $550–$625 a month, a saving of about $270–$350 a month. Setup is a one-time fee of up to $1,500. See how pricing works.
